Just out of curiosity; Anyone use ClockGen-4 on any OTHER OS BESIDES Win-XP 32/64bit?

FWIW, I almost never use the definitive clockgens (CG2, CG3, CG4). I always use CG 1.0.5.3. whenever I can.

I always use CG 1.0.5.3. whenever I can. Same. Except for NF2 chipset. I think I had to use CG2 for that one actually.

Yes, Server 2003 R2 x64 and Windows 7 x64 Server 03 32/64 is built on XP. No problems there. But win-7 64? Interesting, I couldnt get ClockGen-4 to work.

OK, not sure which version you mean by ClockGen-4. The version that I used on Win 7 x64 is 1.0.0.1 and the exe is CG-NVNF4.exe

The ClockGEN-4 that I am referring to is on the right side of the picture. The one on the left is the one Mr Scott is referring to. Regular ClockGen where you have the 4 options to click ( clocks, PLL Control, PLL set up, Options.)

Frank, I've run CG-4 for the Teamcup on Vista-32. Used on my nForce 2200 board, works fine. Have you tried to run as Administrator? Maybe it's the UAC kicking in.

The version I have is 1.0.1 (it says 1.0.0.1 in the properties of the .exe): 1.0.5.3 opens but only shows clocks with no other functionality: Edit: Server 03 32/64 is built on XP. No problems there. But win-7 64? Interesting, I couldnt get ClockGen-4 to work. To get ClockGen for NF4 v1.01 working in Win 7 I had to enable driver test signing: Bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING ON ( Enable Loading of Test Signed Drivers - on docs.microsoft.com)

Also I found cg64.sys was not digitally signed for all versions I have of clockgen for nf4, v1.01, v1.02 and 1.03 in their original archives and because of this none of them work work on Win 7. Anyway some how I have a signed cg64.sys. Can't remember where or how I got it but it works. Attached is an archive of v1.01 which includes the signed cg64.sys driver file. You can use cg64.sys with the other versions of ClockGen for nF4 as well.
