Been trying to remember what I used to OC this board in windows.
Just need a few more mhz, but has to be from desktop not bios.
Any ideas as to what can be used to software OC this board in windows?

SetFSB should work since it's 790FX. TurboV will get you all of the settings IIRC.

Dont know why I used win-10. gonna install win-7 or if need be Win-xp.
Never tryed AI suit with this board will try it thanx

AI suite is the worst software.
It installs a bunch of crap, more than ten useless services run in the background and if you decide to uninstall it, tough luck.
It must not be used on a benching machine.

Turbo-V works in win-7 but when going past 160fsb it locks.
Changed to my 2nd M4A79 board and realized the first one had an earlier bios... Limited volts no ACC
My other has a more up to date bios, CPU volts up to 7, has ACC etc.
