This is not something the average driver can get into. Not that I would ever drive it out in the wild if it was mine. One nick in the paint is thousands of dollars in repairs and I would not recommend it. I would NOT even want to let the underbody get dirty. No way. This is the type of vehicle that you spend all of your time on keeping it properly maintained and tuned. This is what I always considered a professional drivers car. Someone from todays generation couldn't even get something like this to go down the street. You best know how to "feel" the car. It's all by feel. You have to get to know her intimately. If you don't know how to handle a true manual shift street machine you could wind up in a wall at high speed with something like this. Or just rip up the engine and trans. I love this type of machine. I could spend hours driving a car like this. And you had better have some strong calf muscles too when you operate that clutch for a while it could start to sting. LOL
Edit: reminds me of something we might have seen Mannix driving around in.
Now I'm all horned up. LOL

Oh yeah. You bet. Can you imagine opening that puppy up on an open highway in the middle of the night? 426 and that manual tranny? I'd have those rear tires dug in all night long. That pistol grip shifter. Oh man. I'm creamin' my pants.

That and the 440 6-pack are two of my all time favorites.
