I felt like a thread about this magic IC is still missing here. So, how strong are your best kits? I recently added this kit to my collection: Its my strongest kit so far - my other kits already struggle around 1050 at these timings. I have a handful of other sticks as well Corsair 2x2 2000c7: 1000 6-7-5 1.85V 32M, 1083 6-7-5 2.07V 32M Corsair 1x2 2000c8: 1000 6-7-5 1.85V 32M, 1083 6-7-5 2.07V 32M Corsair 1x2 1866c7: 1000 6-7-5 1.88V 32M, Corsair 1x2 1866c7: 1062 6-7-5 2.1V 32M Corsair 1x2 1866c7: 1050 6-7-5 2.1V 32M Corsair 3x2 2000c8: 1000 7-7-6 1.66V 32M, 1000 6-7-5 1.95V 32M, 1080 6-7-5 2.1 V pifast, 1107 7-7-6 1.93V 32M, 970 6-6-5 2.1V 32M, Corsair 1x1 2000c8: 1040 6-7-5 1.95V 32M, 1100 6-7-5 2.04V pifast, 1110 7-7-6 1.85V 32M, 1221 7-8-6 2.1V 1M Corsair 1x1 2000c8: 1020 6-7-5 1.95V 32M, 1090 6-7-5 2.1 V pifast, 1105 7-7-6 1.85V 32M Sold: Adata 2x2 2200c8: 1000 7-7-6 1.64V 32M, 1000 6-7-5 1.94V 32M, 1120 7-7-6 1.9 V 32M, 1200 7-8-6 2.02V pifast (third stick died 2 weeks ago) Corsiar 2x2 2000c8: 1000 7-7-6 1.66V 32M, 1010 6-7-5 1.95V 32M, 1080 6-7-5 2.12V pifast, 1100 7-7-6 1.85V 32M Corsair 1x2 2000c8: 1000 7-7-6 1.66V 32M, 1000 6-7-5 1.95V 32M, 1080 6-7-5 2.1 V pifast, 1105 7-7-6 1.85V 32M Corsair 1x2 1866c7: 1000 7-7-6 1.66V 32M, 1000 6-7-5 1.95V 32M, 1070 6-7-5 2.04V pifast, 1090 7-7-6 1.85V 32M Corsair 1x2 1866c7: 1030 6-7-5 2.1V 32M These are the result of a lot of binning, yet nowhere near the best 2000c8s I've seen from others (except the stick thats paired with the 2kc7s). I have one kit for actual benching, 1 kit for binning/pretesting, 4 backup sticks for the pretesting kit, 2 SR sticks I keep around for novelty and some adatas I would feel bad selling because I don't trust them not dying randomly during shipping. So, now you show what you got! Will add a picture of the tray later, for now have a pic of "the pile" during a cold session with T.rex in 2019.

Jesus ! This pic is awesome ! I mean, this is one of the most serious pic about pure oc done by ones from the biggest masters ! Insane ! Had to see this for long minutes. Many, many nice parts can be seen. I like pics like this ! Pics from bench sessions, from bench builds / tables. I would recognize some of You from Your rig pic ! Scotty does simply perfect builds. Everything is so clean, nothing is just thrown over, even the cables are perfectly leaded away. Parallels and right angles everywhere ! The thick brown tubes of Bones, the bench table of Macsbeach or the small speaker, and so and so, are all so unique things ! All of those has storyes, storyes from an overclocker standing at the other side of the camera.

Have a triple set (3x2GB) of Dom GT's that's as follows:
CMG6GX3M3A 1600C7 7-7-7-20 1.65v Ver 2.2
Need to know what would be the best way to run these since I'm not wanting to kill them if they are indeed Hypers.

I've always been a pussy with my Hypers for that same reason lol, no more than 1.68v lol. I may have tried 1.725v once Actually, I've been kind of a pussy with all of my ram.. My current Royals are by far the most entertaining pair I have ever owned but have only seen 1.6v.

Won't scale super high though, but 1.9V+ isn't a big deal if they scale to that. I've only ever lost 1 stick of hyper to voltage, and that was a stick of MNH-E (2200c8 Adata ). MGH-E I've never managed damaging a stick myself with voltage (shipping, being in storage unused and murderboards have cost me a fair amount of sticks though), despite running many sticks for days on end at >1.9V and several hours at >2.05V each. I'm still not quite comfortable with over 1.95V, but if I need a little more from my sticks I'll push that too. Did some more testing with the 1866c7, they are still struggling for stability at higher frequency, but I at least managed to get 32M 1052 7-7-6-20 1.85V1M 1188 7-8-6-22 2.0V
8M 1040 6-7-5-20 2.14V 3x2 on gigabyte to pass. In the coming days I might retest my 2000c8 benchkit since the data I have on it was with a different IMC and board so having more reliable data wouldn't hurt I guess.

re-trying my strongest SR stick: 8M 1143 7-7-7-21 2.05V8M 1113 6-7-6-20 2.2V
Due to the fact of this stick being single sided, I care less about it than any other sticks since there is no bench where I would need this kind of stick. Else I'd not be going over 2.15V even for short benches.

I can say the sticks (Dom GT's) I've got are good, better than the OCZ's I was running. Can do over 900 with their stock timings (7-7-7-21) using 1.75v's to get it.

Best set does 32M @ 1100 @ 7-7-7-21 @ 1.85v Haven't tested higher.

Since nobody wanted to buy the 1866c7s I decided to remove the heatsinks and try them again. #1 - 1060 6-7-5-20 2.1V#2 - 1052 6-7-5-20 2.1V#3 - 1030 6-7-5-20 2.1V (didn't bother screenshotting since not good enough) Well, whoever didn't buy those missed out since now I'm keeping them and removing more heatspeaders slowly.

Had listed them on hwbot for a couple weeks for 50€, totally forgot to list them here, thought that was the most relevant place to list hypers. If you still want some sticks, I have at least 17 new sticks coming and there will probably be some interesting spares for sale soon

Lol.. So I've been afraid to put more than 1.7v through my Super Talent MGH-E because I thought they wouldn't like that voltage but here you are @ 2v+ no problem. Dammit. They are a 3x2 kit of STT 2000C8. I also have some OCZ Reaper 1600 6-8-6, I think they are PSC but could be BBSE. Well I guess I will setup my old X58 into my old Stacker STC-01 this weekend. I have a 3x2 kit of Perfect Storm 2133C9 and a pair of Tridents of the same speed and timings. Supposedly they could do high speed @ 6-8-6 but was probably being soft with the vdimm because I couldn't run them that tight.
I'm rambling.. the pizza in the oven smells good and I am fading fast
Edit:
I just noticed I replied to this thread and listed my ram ugh.. sorry

Wanna sell them Perfect Storm's? You may not want them, they work fine, but one of the fingers is missing some gold due to shipping damage. It wasn't my error, but its there.. but they rip.. 2133 8-9-8-24 1T 1.725v I think he was doing 1000-1100 6-8-6 but I don't remember the voltage.. on X79 or X99.. its been about 8-9 years. I tried and failed on X58 and Z77. I don't have his screen caps anymore.. But feel free to make an offer He ran them with the Tridents too, sweet stix..

Half way decent BBSE should easily run 2000 6-9-6 on x58; proper good sticks even 6-8-6. My old 2200c9 Gskill BBSE did 2000 5-8-5, but I only had 2 sticks of that. Due to tighter subtimings Hyper can be faster though a strong OS makes a bigger difference then BBSE vs Hyper.
