Not sure about those although they are B die so you should do OK. I am using G skill 4000 CL 15 which are almost impossible to get and excellent RAM. What are the timings ? Should be able to do 3800 and lower timings quite easily I would have thought.

I would also look for faster B die RAM with CL15 or CL16 timings if you really want to bench at max speeds (2 X 8 Gb sticks) . The only thing that will stop you beating my scores with same board and CPU is the RAM . I am sure you going to whoop my arse when you get your new board . Good decision .

Lol, I doubt that. My ram is B-die. I have them at 14-15-15-15-35 right now.

You be fine. Try 14 on all timings and bump voltage up a tad . If that works, try to to increase your speed . My RAM are 1.5V @ XMP which is high so I normally push them to 1.95V to go supersonic.

You know about msconfig ? If you don't , some people here have serious questions to answer . Do you know about all the windows tricks to get higher scores ? Not sure if you are taking the piss out of me here.

Anytime This is a good place with far more knowledgeable people here than me . Take care and enjoy overclocking.

Yep Scotty put me on this site a couple of years ago but I've kinda just stayed in the background and watched. I decided recently that there is way to much drama and negativity on most of the other sites I go to and I didn't see that here, so I decided to start hanging out with you guys and getting involved more.

You know about msconfig ? If you don't , some people here have serious questions to answer . not really, there are only a small number of benches that I'm aware of where this benefits much now. Though others could correct me.
But the main one that I'm aware of is where you assign the total amount of ram available to windows. This helps keep the page file small and then also pages to the disk less. From my testing this benefit has diminished in gains with SSD's and now NVME's.
Windows Key + R to open run, then follow the line from left to right.
From there you can also disable services and such.

Ok I do remember the memory tweak now, I used to use it many moons ago in Windows 7 and had forgotten about it. Anyway I just tried it and it made no difference in my scores, probably because I'm on a Sabrent Rocket Plus 4

This board will should help you get your RAM going nice. I set my maxmem to 3000 or 2500 in windows . Without this , there is no way I could get my RAM running at speed and tighter timings.

I just cranked the Silverstone 170cfm cpu fans to full throttle (they howled like my 1st wife), did a quick 4.6 on 1.3v all core overclock and ran Cinebench R20. Multicore climbed from 11,404 to 11,925 but interestingly single core fell from 630 to 594. I'm convinced that optimizing the curves is the way to find balance between multicore and single core scores. Ryzen Clock Tuner 2.0 is supposed to release later this month so I'm gonna try it out

Ryzen Clock Tuner 2.0 is supposed to release later this month so I'm gonna try it out I've always found that once you crank the voltage for multi-core or all-core, you obliterate the single core performance just because you have too much voltage on the die. So it would seam you have the best of both worlds going. Otherwise you need to bring the voltage down, disable SMT to keep 4.6 for single thread test

What are your temps ? Why don't you run core temp. An excellent program that gives a wealth of information. When you install . uncheck ...do you want to build a kingdom and the extra pack. www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/

you kow I never think of core temp. I always go to RealTemp for Intel and HWinfo or HWMonitor for AMD.
Does Coretemp favor one over the other?

It hits 80 using PBO4 and hits 89 when doing the all core clock.

New board going great and so far , no reason to get the dark out. Bot has gone down so just re running all the benches with all my CPU's on this board. So far so good . Even got the 6 core out. Scores are much better with the 12 and 16 core though .

Different speeds and timings favour each bench . Not one shoe fits all im afraid. On intel , i found 4800 on CL14 1T was best . AMD is wierd .

Looks good indeed! Keep us updated on how it does for you. Just got home and gave the dark a quick try to make sure the bios was OK for these cpu's and it's fine. On the other 3 boards , they all needed an update before they would recognize the cpu.
I will give it a proper run on benches today and see how it goes . I do like using Turbo V Core so hope it goes well. Hopefully there is a good bios out for it on HWBOT somewhere . Have 2601 at the moment.
