This CPU and board seem to go quite well . Up until yesterday , never tried R11.5 and forgot all about R20 so thought I would try them on AMD. What can I try next ?

If you haven't already see about figuring out 32M Super PI. It's a bench that will require alot of tweaking and will always present a challenge to get more from. That's why Bully does it, he's always finding ways to get more from it and you can ask him about it.

Nah , I put the AMD stuff away and just got the Z270 and 2 core out . Discovered lots of benches and points to get with that . Bullants is the king of super pi . He is a nice guy as well. He has been around to mine so I know . He spent a few hours overclocking with me on one of my rigs and showed me just how good he is with RAM . It was great fun sat next to the master .

Probrably due to how screwed up the bot can be, I don't see anything wrong with it myself. From what I'm seeing it's fine for general rankings but the low clock comp going on ATM has a few things required. If it was meant for that comp it's at least missing a reading based on the Zentimings proggy. I say that because of the 5000MHz limit and yours isn't too far off of 5000MHz/5GHz.
Give it a little time, noted the sub date is the 26th and it should appear before long and know I've ran into this before myself with a delay of things appearing on the board. Sometimes a recalculaton of your points of things will fix it, sometimes not but unfortunately the recalc button was disabled awhile back because folks were abusing it.
BTW you can also Leeg to do a recalculation of your points for you if you have to.

Noted earlier your points have appeared. Keep tweaking, you'll do even better and learn what it is that makes it go with that bench.

another one is not going in. Loosing patience here . I don't think I have done anything wrong and the score looks ok. Maybe I should give up on super pi and get back to graphics.

TBH no one is really trusted over there. Again, like it was with your previous sub it takes time for the site to update the database and award points. Nothing any of us can do about that except...... Wait. It will appear with points before long but if it doesn't within a day or so, that's the time to start asking about it.

Looks good but your RAM speed is way low, you should be able to get it much higher for better results. This is the part when tuning and tweaking comes in and with Super PI, you never stop tweaking for more.

I'll say up front, don't be suprised if the system doesn't like it that high in RAM speed running 1T, could be it would be unstable but if that's the case just tweak down a little in RAM speed and try again. Normally "IRQ not less or equal" errors indicates you need a bump in RAM voltage, normally that will fix it but sometimes it just means your RAM is unstable period. Takes time to really figure it out and you always want more - I know I do. EDIT: If you have to run it at a lower RAM speed, it's OK because the run that is completed for a sub at a lower speed always beats a run ran at a higher speed but crashes before it's done. Complete the run you can now, tweak for the one you want later and learn from the failed run(s) what doesn't work.

Thanks I tweaked the RAM and got a better run . May try CL 12 at same speed . Running at 1.75v which is not that high considering its 4000 CL 15 running at 1.5v normally on XMP. On Intel I can get it running 4800 CL14 1T 1.95v but AMD is a bit different lol. Thanks again for the tips .

Nothing wrong with liking Gigabyte - Not my personal choice TBH but if it works for you, why not?
Go with what will give the results.

I used to be a Gigabyte guy for MB's but their product hasn't been the same since the x58 chipset. I've since switched to Asus and crossed my fingers I never have to RMA.
Gigabyte RMA used to be good. but my last few experiences were just them not being able to replicate my issues and sending the HW back as it was. Thus me having gear that doesn't work correctly.

Just got a Gigabyte Master so hopefully the better VRM's will help. Thanks Vinster for the info , appreciated. Still not going to use the Dark. Gone off Asus.
