Oh, looks like you have a wraith prism on there. Those don't come with the 3600 do they? I thought they had the spire?

Good eye Shrimp. I do a lot of budget gamers for customers, and the prism cooler is perfect for the 3600 so I grab everyone I can find for cheap. I'll be using a Noctua DH-15 Chrome Max once I land me a 5950x.

I'll be using a Noctua 14 Chrome Max once I land me a 5950x. Oh for sure. It's a decent cooler. Revamp of old opteron and FX heatpipe coolers. One of which passively cools my Zenalon 220ge. (see what I did there?! lol)

Nice test bench for sure. I really like the way the Wraith Prism looks. Prettiest stock cooler on the planet.

Nice Bench. The 5950x is a big CPU, have you read of anyone using that cooler with that CPU?

OK, cool. I have my 5800x with a custom loop (3x 360mm rads) and that one at 4.9ghz is toasty even at 1.35vcore. I know they share the same 105watts. I've just read that under Air the 5900x is a warm little nut. so I'd anticipate the 5950x to be a little worst.
I'm guessing that you won't be overclocking it?

Vin Yes sir I will be overclocking it, I run a TT Core X5 case with 4/200mm fans, and 2/140mm fans. I will be fine.

On second thought, newegg had the MSI MAG CORELIQUID 360R AIO Liquid CPU Cooler on Black Friday Special for $119 and then a $10 discount code so I got it for $109 and pulled the trigger. It had a 5 egg rating and seems decent enough to cool a 5950x. I'll mount the Noctua air cooler on the 3950x backup station

I'll mount the Noctua air cooler on the 3950x backup station I installed the 5950x on the test bench after I got home from work and run a few preliminary test to make sure there were no problems and pleased to say it all checks out good. As soon as the 6900XT arrives everything will get transplanted into the TT Core X5 tower. Also notice that I polished the test bench legs on a lathe, made me a panel with Vandal switches and also added a Usb 3.0 panel to the bench. Super pleased with my homemade bench!
