So my 8 year old found my Vintage 1965 Series 53 Matchbox case and car set. Was my Father's brother's set. Some of the cars had a new paint job, something that kids did back in the 60's, changing the look of the cars.
Super hesitant to let him play with it. His older brother when he was young lost a couple of the cars. (closer to like 8 of them) Have found a couple mixed in with the 3 large rubber maid tubs full of legos.
I swear them boys have more in legos than I do in PC parts lol.
Will upload a picture after I resize it to fit the forum.

I had lots of them when I was a kid. And tracks to run them on. And also had Johnny Lightnings too.

Do not get us started Had a a bunch of these toy cars, especially remember a 60's Pontiac GP Grand Prix Sports Coupe Matchbox superfast, #22 that had a suspension that was really nimble. Some are still at the summer house, somewhere. But yes, wife made a show collection of our kids toy cars from back in the day when they were younger, maybe I'll post a pic some day.
