Hey guys, I need some help. I've had this board post and restart multiple times on cold boots.
Is this a normal thing for these Asus boards?
Can anyone help me determine if this is an issue or just how these boards are??
Thanks in advance!!

Usually a memory training thing. So basically the board is increasing the strap each restart? That's how I figure it trains memory? Seen this with AM4 boards Crosshair I think it is. Same deal I imagine. Memory training?? Edit. I know we've discussed this before, but cant find the conversation.

We have discussed this once before. Cant find it. Maximus X Hero ( no wifi) Memory is gskill 4267mhz 19-19-19 white and black A2 PCB Samsung bdie. Bios revision, current. However the issue was on a previous bios as well. And no post codes. The board restarts twice then posts normally George. Seems when XMP enabled it happens most. No other issues, system runs fine. In addition, my B450-I does the same thing. Current and previous bios. 160 pages, might be in general comments section of team, but I cant find the convo.

Totally normal Jon. All modern Asus boards do the same thing. Especially on high speed memory sticks. Nothing wrong here my friend
