I started an Invite only clan. It's called the "The North Chill" if you play and aren't in a clan. feel free to look it up.
I play 2-3 times a week on weekdays and on/off on weekends. I know a few of you joined the clan that I was previously a member of, but the owner punted some of you (not sure why). But now this is mine. So bullshit like that won't happen.
I've also started a Discord Server for this Clan. It's pinned in the clan's message board in game.

All good. I know Wulfe (and partner) and a few others had joined the clan I was previously a member of. But then they all got booted.. I wasn't happy about it and reviewed things with the owner and he wasn't a dick about it, just wouldn't acknowledge his mistake. I tried to get a few things sorted out but things just weren't moving and I had my hands tied...
So I figured to go on my own.. tough starting over.. there are 30 levels of clan-hood... need 4 members to even start working up those ranks (I got the previous clan from level 8 to 30 and 12 members to 50)...
Uphill road for now... Alamakluke is coming over... I'm going to keep doing what I did to build the clan (Sheppard other members and if they aren't in a clan and are descent people I send them an invite) figure if we can get 4-6 good members and they can invite friends and that way there we have a more coordinated group.
That was one of the issues, we had 90% lone wolfs that just didn't want to do group events (Raids need 8 members, Legendary missions need 4 coordinated members)... but just to basics, a clan mate would call for backup/help and nobody would join (4-6 other were online) to help them. Most of the times it's 5-10min to help them out of a jam... but they just wouldn't help. I have a problem with that.

We weren't booted... We left it, mainly because of how the mood for our playing while part of said clan went from fun to, uhm... Nothing. Very little joy, just stress. Can't remember if it was how things were being run, or whatnot.
Odds are this fox won't join up, but that's two fold: one, we're debating if we're going to keep playing that game, and two, attentions are diverted to other areas - I've been painting minis a decent amount the past little while, and I've also been working on getting a game board set up for Infinity.

3rd person game. there are a lot of youtube vids out there. have a look. you start from nothing and level up, base game you cap at level 30, if you have the expansion you go to level 40. as you level up your gear gets stronger and your weaponry hits harder...
it's a little addictive. I have more hours in than I'd like to admit... because you can infinitely better your gear and farming for it takes time
the drawback is you'll have to install UPlay.. like Steam, Epic and Origin... it's another game launcher.

I said more in my reply to your PM, but yeah, stress is a good way of putting it. On the flipside, we're starting to want to play it more often, and will probably wind up logging in 2-3 times per week. NYC expansion will be a while though, since that's $80 on our end to get into. |

I suspect I'll be waiting a bit after that, simply because Game Envy is getting a bunch of my money next cheque - nicer paint organizers than I have at the moment to put it briefly ^_^ (and maybe one of their Hobby Holders, but we shall see if I'll have enough) But yeah, regular price is $40 CAD, so it's just a case of having money for such, and not already having plans for one's hobbying/fun money fund. My assembly and painting desks are going to look downright epic once all is said and done though... |
