So let's see, this week I picked some excellent brews. I start with Budweiser Black Lager(Jim Beam Bourbon Barrel). I like these on a few Ice Cubes. 7.1 octane - Copper Lager is also a good choice @ 6.2 octane Then I have Guinness Draught Stout. 4.2 octane A fellow working at the store recommended to me , "Painted Black" by Woodury Brewing Co. "Robust Porter". It tastes much like a coffee/chocolate stout. It's the best beer I've had since Speedway Stout(damn I miss those). will be a regular purchase. 6.7 octane then I have Left Hand Brewing Co.'s Wake Up Dead Nitro Russian Imperial Stout. Like everything LHB Co. does, this one is very smooth for the ABV. 10.2 octane Add your favorites when they come to mind.

Every now and then, I'll have a drink Chimay. Fine Trappist Ale. 1/2 glass beer, half glass head. Good drinkin'

Old Rasputin by North Coast Brewing. I think it's 9. something octane. fantastic traditional tasting Imperial Stout sometimes when I have an inch or two left in the glass left I pour in the Wake Up Dead beer listed above. provides a boost of richness to the very smooth rendition of imperial stout that is the Wake Up Dead by Left Hand Brewing Co. yep, I occasionally mix brewskies

Old Rasputin pretty tasty but I favor darker brews.
A few suggestions. Anderson Valley Brewing Co's Boont Brown Ale. 5.8% Big Sky Brewing Co's Moose Drool, American style brown ale, 5.0% Sierra Nevada, has a couple I like Narwhal Imperial Stout & Ovila Belgian-Style Abbey Quad. Ovila is brewed with plums and the only brew I'll drink with any form of natural or artificial flavor additive, 10% +
Generally I drink Fosters green can not that it's something special but it reminds me of Rainier Ale (The Green Death) consumed in my youth, still available on occasion but I can't put a date on the last time I've seen it locally.

I've had a little of that just because of the green can when I was working down in Napa. but doesn't show up locally. Locally now green death shows up in conversation in relation to Mickey's Big Mouth.
Being asked if I'm 21 at brewing company sites is beyond me, not like I'm going to push a button on the computer and have it pour a cold one!

Same here, it suds up on me too much. Prefer my octane around 80 for sipping but if really throwing down, no less than 195 mixed will do (Everclear).

Ive had the Sierra Nevada Narwhall, that one's good also, one of the boozier stouts i've had.
I shop in the biggest package store in my area, with the biggest selection of craft beer around, yet they don't have anything else you guys have listed. all sounds really good too, cream ale, brown ales, I also like New Castle Brown Ale.
Occasionally I'll do shots or sip a bourbon, but I havent bought liquor in quite some time. I like bourbon, patron tequila. my days of hard alky are over for the most part. I also like some good homemade wine. Our machinist friend makes some groovy potent vino with none of that sulfite taste.

Last week I picked up a fosters in the blue can, cause I usually go for lager's first. that one was good, ide say very similar to a standard bud, very very clear when poured in a glass. Although not bad, it's very light tint for me. This week I tried the green can. these are 25 oz chubby cans btw. Definitely like the Ale alot more than the lager for fosters, a richer tasting brew with a nice little afterbite. more my color for a drinker. I only see 25 oz cans at the store, they'll make nice boosters for my weekly kit this warmer season.

Been drinkin' some Heineken since I tried a 24 oz can last week(for the first time). I like the Malt Lager for sure. I also picked up a Colt 45 40 oz'er since they must've just brought it it. For 3 Bucks, I think it's pretty good. Took a long time for me to finish it, maybe 3 1/2 glasses. First time trying that as well. In the words of Bartle Doo, "Malt Licky"

if you're ever in Amsterdam, get Heineken from draft, it's brewed in Belgium, it's the only place to get Heineken from belgium. Unicorn tears in a glass... it was near majestic... I love beer and whisky... it was nothing I'd ever tasted before.
