When you buy Asus motherboards, the following options exist :
1) 50%. It will be OK. For how long ? Unknown. 2) 20%. It will be DOA. 3) 30%. It will develop a serious issue in the first 90 days.
For all the above reasons, NEVER buy used Asus boards without warranty. Even with warranty, it is not 100% certain that Asus will honor it.
What I described above is my statistics over a period of 10 years and more than 100 high end Asus boards.
If only Asus had a serious competitor in the motherboard manufacturers, with more reliability and seriousness.
The board shown in the video costs in Europe 400 Euros.

I've had good luck, granted I don't have the numbers you do. the worst I've had is a bad memory slot. So I use the board in single channel only... otherwise, every Asus board I've owned still works.. I've had about 20 of them, all different series.

I'm not partial. I break everything. Believe it or not, I've had the best luck with the Gig boards and customer service.

And myself with MSI and EVGA European service.
Fast, reliable, few typical questions asked.
Both motherboards and VGA's.
Funny part, I do not have a single MSI board for 5 years now.

Long time ago, had a MSI (NF3 Ultra) board that on many occasions would not start, totally dead. CMOS clear, Unplug/plug power cables, CPU, brought it back. Got tired of it and brought it to a service center for them to test it out, it came back clear, said there was no fault, nothing done there. Eventually the fault was in the PSU I had, a well known new dual fan Tagan 480W PSU. Something triggered its protection when trying to power up, without a sound. Used another PSU and all was fine. Stubbornness in me led me to believe a simple PSU can't be the cause for this.

I've not really had bad luck with Asus, Lower end Asrock boards have been my biggest return rate. Generally buy Giga for use and the rest for abuse so really don't test the abuse boards for full function. Actually have gotten faulty product from every major brand over the years. Will agree on the EVGA statements damn good company.
