I just hope I've a board that will spin it up. More of an oddity than something that going to go fast.

I have an engineering sample 5680 that has an unlocked multi that I am going to be testing after finals are over this week. Once I have tested it if anyone else wants it let me know and it it your for the price of postage.

You know of course that ES processors are forbidden for benching. Only Elite members can use them

You can bench them for points, just not in any competitions.
I have a couple dozen in various platforms. It's still luck of the draw. Most clock no better than retail chips.

it may not get to 4.6Ghz and CPU usage may not get past 86% in windows Vin Later finds out it was a simple disk read error and tries to blame cpu. face palm. (I don't know if that's true, but probably lol)

ya I caught that too, but when booted it couldn't perform as it needed too. I think a special MB is required to deliver the power required for this CPU

Black Ops only works in a couple OEM boards. I know someone that has one. Will not run proper in any high end enthusiast board.

Already spent a little time looking, not expecting much but had to give it a go.

They're not engineering samples exactly but instead are special order from intel. There was a request to add the 4.6GHz one to the hwbot database and two were added, apparently there's a 4.4GHz one as well.
