I've never had an engineering sample, I've seen Luke get his hands on a few, think they where 775 chips.... he always seemed to get them to post and halfway decent luck with clocks too.

I have an engineering sample 5680 that has an unlocked multi that I am going to be testing after finals are over this week. Once I have tested it if anyone else wants it let me know and it it your for the price of postage.

I have a couple dozen in various platforms. It's still luck of the draw. Most clock no better than retail chips.

They're not engineering samples exactly but instead are special order from intel. There was a request to add the 4.6GHz one to the hwbot database and two were added, apparently there's a 4.4GHz one as well.
