Tested HD decoding acceleration on using 1080p60 through youtube on browsers. Tried Firefox, IE, vivaldi and Edge. Edge seemed to perform the best by utilizing CPU the least, 2nd was IE. Firefox & vivaldi spiked to 100%CPU This was on a old machine Ahlon64 X2 6000+ Windsor, abit NF-M2S, GeForce 9400GT discrete. w10 x64.
test clip :
Surprised that the CPU was so hard taxed on firefox&vivaldi. Did not try Chrome, but seeing articles, it behaves similar.

Work outs, yes! Can't say if it was 30fps, but it was acceptable/viewable when using Edge&IE.
Now I noticed there is a right click option "Stats for nerds" on that clip.
