Crazy over here.
Lost the 60" TV to LED failure. Had a clogged pipe in the basement, took all 15 feet of snake to break free. Rebuilt the drains under the kitchen sink. Got the Furnace cleaned out and up and running. Check Engine on the wife's car.... She didn't tighten the fuel cap tight enough. Yesterday at work, 2 power steering pumps, and a gear box swap from a junker to a daily truck... in 6 hours. Dropped my portable LED drop lite into the ATF bucket 3 times. lol. I still works, but the ATF is still dripping out lol. Last week dislocated my left Pinky finger dropping tires from the tire rack and getting my hand in the way. El Camino is running good though.

I had a flex line burst over the water heater this past week. I repaired it but then all the pipes in the house got clogged with debris and I had to replace all the cartridges in every faucet after flushing out the entire system. Now just like you I have a clogged line under the laundry sink. And the brick wall over some of the second story windows is blowing out. I need to call a contractor and see how much he wants to rebuild that brick wall...………..oh and I now have water damage from last nights rains from the second floor all the way down to the basement. I have to call the insurance company in the morning. I am pissed right now.

GAH!! That's terrible news Eddie. The wall isn't gonna be cheap. Good thing for insurance though.

Weather changes tear up buildings. Especially a 106 year old one like mine.

Our house is just about as old. Built somewhere in the 20s. The historical society in town and the village and the bank.... nobody knows the actual build date. Back then you bought the house as a kit and your family put it together yourselfs, back when permits where only needed to build on the land. The old cistern is still next to the house and everything which was likely installed some 10-20 years later. So from what little information there is, the house could pre-date the 1900s.
All I know is the yellow pine 2 inch by 4 inch studs don't take nails from the nail gun even at 165 psi. It's as solid as 3 modern houses combined. All studs are no more than 12" on center.
