Haha Scotty. That's right up your alley. So where's the video of YOU eating some shit?? lol. I did wreck once, in Cicero NY, @ around 155 mph. There was no video. I have some stills that the track photographer took around here somewhere. Front tire blew out just as I passed through the finish lights. As soon as the rim touched the ground I was a pinwheel. Walked away with only a really bad kidney bruise and a little road rash on my shoulder. Bike was totaled. Only thing I could save was the carbs and the air shifter. It pissed me off more that I ruined a thousand dollar set of leathers and a fresh painted 400 dollar Simpson helmet that I had on my head like twice. I had my next bike finished about three weeks later. Life was good when I had money and was single.

And things didn't cost what they do today. I could never do what I did then today. I went thru hot cars like a glass of water. Those same cars today would be totally unaffordable. I can't believe that wrecking one to me back then was no big deal. I'd have another by the end of the week......paid for in cash.
Edit: I remember going thru a complete set of performance tires on my '69 Galaxie on Saturday night and having a new set installed Monday morning. Like nothing. Have you seen the price of tires today?

Lol.... Single? What's that pwahaaahaa. Ah ya, but life is still good, just in a different way now.
I've never wrecked at that speed, at least I wasn't the one driving any way. I was back seat right side, Sue to my left, Brian in pass front and Shana driving. Hilly back road at 75mph. Car took air. Mid flight, I clicked my seat belt on. She hammered the brakes while in flight, when the front wheels touched pavement, it sent the car into a tumble. Brian died 3 times, is Paralyzed from the neck down the rest of his life. I was the only one conscious. Sue to my left put her face through the window, Shana had a few broken bones, pelvic and thigh. Brian was in the dash board. His fucking doctor said it was my fault cause I braised myself on the back of his seat.... my reply was.. "no Brian, I wasn't driving, your doctor is full of shit." Of course I braised myself. Saw it all coming and reacted accordingly.
Whata day. Remember it like yesterday.
