Wasn't quite sure where to put this since I'm talking about CPUs in general. I was thinking it would be cool to see some eye candy from your most valuable overclock. Requirements are simple: -Post a CPUz screenshot of your most prized overclock (for example, this could be your highest clocked OC or simply an OC that you worked really hard for, etc) -You may post supplement screen grabs if you wish (such as a benchmark result, pictures of your rig, etc) -Open to both Intel and AMD processors -Open to all cooling methods: from air to liquid to LN (but please list your cooling method) -You may include a brief backstory about how you achieved said result I'll kick this off with an example: Nothing spectacular, but this one has stuck with me. This is my Phenom II 1705T -- an unlocked X4 970 BE (zosma core) This took a few days to get dialed in and my first real foray into FSB overclocking. Rock solid stable for many years. Air cooled with a Hyper 212.

One of my first experiences with sub-zero cooling. Before this I was just throwing ice cubes into the pot for freq vailds and spi 1M. Xeon X5687 @ 6.0GHz 1.87V on Dice.

Probably my favorite here. Benched at the same clocks produced a SPI 1M of 34.125. Vintage overclocking at it's finest.

Nothing as impressive as our two admin here above, but actually thinking back there was a platform socket 905 or known as FM1 that was pretty enjoyable. Clocked up an E2-3200. Llano 2.4Ghz OC'ed 3767Mhz (and change) at 1.6v and that puts it over 50% OC. Which is pretty good percentage for any processor. No single favorite OC here. My favorite time is when shared with you fellas. Just wish I had more time. This the first time I've actually sat at my PC for more than 10 minutes to check e-mails.

Looks good shrimp! Best I could muster on the 905 platform was 3162mhz. Mobile processor, so obviously I was limited in terms of my laptops cooling system. Achieved this result with K10stat. Got me 4th place over at the bot, but I cant really brag about that because there were only 14 submissions.

The 1st time (and only time) I got to 5Ghz...
MB sitting on it's box, air cooled and the whole setup sitting out of a window in a snow bank as it snowed on the setup... required a BSEL mod to get the MB to cooperate, it was the only MB I had at the time that I could spare to bench...
unforgettable night.

Aleslammer, looks like you have a CPUz screenshot on the linked HWBot page.. so I just copied and pasted here so we have it recorded in the thread...

Here is another favorite of mine; X9000 extreme CPU in a freezer cooled laptop, my Lenovo T61p A number of people said this couldn't be done or it would brick my computer due to the higher power demands. With fan control software I was able to mitigate the additional heat and still use the laptop to this day. Well over one years since the CPU swap and everything is still holding together. This result got me 3rd place at HWBOT but there are only 12 other subs so it doesn't count for much.

For me there's a few all with the same CPU, It was the first time I actually learnt how to OC and went and bought a custom loop for my daily driver I was so happy to get this, even managed to run it through GPUPI Next was my first time running it on LN2, not having any real clue what I was doing but I managed to get 7.5 on 8 cores so pretty pleased with that outcome. And finally last year, not really sure I need to say much about this one

Here's another one of my favorite overclocks of all time. StormChaser would like this one I think. valid.x86.fr/show_oc.php?id=2415230

Bilko is cool, I've nothing but good things to say about him guys. There is reason why he hasn't taken up the invite to join the team but I'll have to let him say what it is himself since it's his business..... Literally.

Indeed Rodney, as long as he's having fun, it doesn't matter. We're all on the same page! Another one of muh favorite OCs 6400+ @ 4063Mhz. Still holds country record, so that's kinda nice hehe. I can attest to it being quite difficult to reach beyond 4ghz, but managed it on 2 chips of the same number. This one is the highest of the two. valid.x86.fr/show_oc.php?id=2125351

This is an old run from yesteryear that I enjoyed so very much. I just loved this chip. I've had better runs on other platforms but for me this was just sooo much fun to play with:

Some of the most fun overclocking for me was with an e8400 on a crappy arctic cooling freezer 7 pro with some ducting to bring in cold winter air!
Neither my 6700k or 1800x go particularly far on ambient water, would like to play with a chiller or some dry ice at some point!

1800X will go a little bit on DICE. Don't bother on the chiller it won't get cold enough.

Bones has it right, I work for AMD as a Community/Social Manager I created the HWBOT team for it a number of years ago and pretty much been there ever since, Am more than happy to help others or answer most questions (if I know the answer). Mr Scott and a few others have politely invited me to join Warp9 formally but for the reason I listed above I've had to decline. The only time I'll be a little coy about helping it is when Country Cup rolls around (can you blame me?) but other than that ask away!

Yep! First HWBOT Team I ever joined was OCN (used to be really active over there at one point), then I joined Australia OC for a while, created AMD Red Team and pretty much been there ever since with the exception of Team Cup last year. But I am born and raised in NSW
