ShrimpBrime: Not all AM2 processors are soldered. Brisbane 6000+ 65w is not, Windsor 125w 6000+ is soldered. The Brisbane chips do run a bit cooler, but hit or miss on overclock-ability. I had a couple Brisbane chips that where complete dogshit OC. May 14, 2024 12:27:52 GMT -5

ShrimpBrime: Even Opteron is not soldered. They started Soldering chip on AM2 such as Windsor 6000+ and 6400+. Socket 1207 are probably soldered, but I've never had the platform to confirm or deny this fact. If you find something, please add it here. May 14, 2024 10:44:53 GMT -5 *
