Even if the board was no good everything else there is worth the $35. Ram is the good D9GMH's. I almost want to take a chance.

My 4th X48 Rampage Extreme died today.... Hopefully it can be fixed..... Unless the damage consists of something like a crispy-fried PCB. If it's really dead and you woudn't want or need it I'd like to get it for parts to keep mine going. EDIT: Nevermind, just remembered you're across the pond from me.

I got all 4 of them here still, was always lucky that as soon as one died another became available cheap.

Sorta lost a K8N Neo Platinum, started off using a SATA HD, at 240 FSB HD drive would disappear switched to a PATA drive and a BIOS supplied by Mr. Scott made 380 FSB with the board ran a few benches. Then the OS hung, cut power, OS came up and had to run repair which was a no go. Four HD's and two ribbon cables latter same problem. Board still makes windows with a SATA drive but both IDE ports are gone. Guess I could try a IDE or SATA PCI card but don't know how much effort I want to put into it as the board didn't like the Clawhammers I have.

380 is good for that board. Glad the bios was a positive.

Had a software PCI RAID card I forgot about, picked it up when my favorite electronics store went out of business, Neo is running like a champ with it on a single drive.

What is the PCB number on the 260, and is the stock cooler still good? I need one if the PCB is the same as mine.

Picked up a Quadro 4000 off of flea bay that arrived today. Ran two benchmarks successfully then it went blue screen during the third. Can't even boot into Windows with it now. It either outputs no signal or BSOD's. I don't think it liked being overclocked.

2nd Gig EP45T Extreme is dead, it was going last time i used it , took it off and put it away, was gunna try see what fsb i could get from it with the E8400 but no boot, unplugged the 8 pin plug and she spins up, wont be gettin another of these again, i took the heatsinks off to have a look, couldnt see any evidence of vrm failure but it looks like somehow its blown 2 opposite corners off the NB chip to me,
