ive had a p35 b4 and a p45, both silent pipes, but i killed them both ages ago, ive never seen a 35 board from gig like this , the backplate and SB has its own looks to me like a copper coated maybe backing plates, i dunno, its actually quite heavy with it, they call it crazy cool, bought it for $46 aud delivered, i know it hasnt been used forever coz its got fluff everywhere, usb ports, heatsinks, front panel pin connectors, so ill give it a good blow off with air and see how she goes or doesnt go lol

Nice price, should bench DDR2 1200+, same top cooling as my EP35 DS4 would add some air movement under the board to take the heat off the plates.

well ales we all know the trex is the go to board but of course its ddr3 and x48 chipset, but dear as poison and like hens teeth to find at a half decent price when you do come across one, ddr2 tho theres so many good 775 boards to choose from both in gig and asus i feel, and i think the biostar tpower i45 would have to be a big contender too, i thought id buy this as it has the 12 phase power set up which i thought has to be a big plus for it and the price was right for it and what came with it

i know ive said gig was the last on my list as motherboards, but, ive realised the other gigs i had were my fault to kill, too many volts, but the 45pt extreme no , anyway its the silicone lottery regardless what brand you get, the last 3 especially the cheap x99 -fxa ud3 model i got , kicks arse, knocked the old xhair 5z off with ease in which pete as seen, its just what you get, its either a run of the mill or they're something different, if you get a something different then you have something different than all the rest

The E6300 really good for a L2. Don't think I ever got much over 3300 with the 2 I've played with even lapped the best one.

Tomorrow I will show you how to get to the ram timings I dont think you got what I was exactly telling you to do yesterday. You have to hold down the control key and while holding it down you press the F1 key. DO NOT let up the control key keep it pressed while you press the F1 key otherwise you will just get the help menu.

Nope its Control from the manual.
• If you do not find the settings you want in the Main Menu or a submenu, press <Ctrl>+<F1> to access more advanced options. • When the system is not stable as usual, select the Load Optimized Defaults item to set your system to its defaults. • The BIOS Setup menus described in this chapter are for reference only and may differ by BIOS version.

You're right. Alt + F1 is MSI.

I didnt know MSI had that feature probably because I haven't had much to do with MSI boards. Pete
