Pretty Fancy Shane! That is Music!! its where it all come from shrimp, where a story was being told and put to music, not like todays shit or even the last 20-30 yrs , ive got heaps of vinyl, and a damn good technics ex DJ turntable, and 13 speakers, and it sounds great. music as it was cut, produced and sold, no electronics bullshit add on sound affects, all as it was done in the studio, thats music, but as usual, money takes over
like this one for eg, a 1 hit wonder, but a great song, even in todays standards this melts a girls ,........... well heart lol, but never been able to find live footage of it, a canadian duo , but this was their best and signature song, and really the lyrics are really what its all about

I used to hang with gramps (Bob) and listen to old 1920/30's Jazz music. And good old rock from the 50s and 60s too. Artists like Barrett Strong and Sam Cooke. My Late Uncle Tom had (my aunt has it still) an entire back wall of vinyl records in the basement. A very large handful of unopened records and many duplicates for that reason. The collection is worth thousands even if every record is worth only 5 bucks.

Here's one of my favorite greaser bands from my days. I turned wrench on my old 77 caddi to this music. Nothing like advancing timing and taking on 90's 305 cameros back in the day. I always left the distributor bolt just snug enough to hold.

Okay, now let's reach waaaaaay back in the way back machine. This is what was playing in my Dads garage when I was a kid and what influenced my taste in music. While my older brother worked on his '65 SS Impala this would always be playing with Dad in the back ground tapping his toes.

Oh definitely Check Berry Rocks! Johnny be Goode. Loved seeing that in Back to the Future. Helps keep iconic music alive.

More a Bo Diddley fan, little more bluesy than Chuck Berry, saw them both in Reno in the early 1970s

chuck berry was excellent, very hard to compare and be fair between both as the 2 as both had completely different styles, but dying and 41 yrs later
just pure class and stagemanship
