Very new to DDR5, squeezed this out of a Klevv Bolt V stick hwbot.org/submission/5485924_Marketed as 10L, arrived as 8L, so swapping out for Team Group A-die. Hope they do about as well but we'll see.

Ddr5 8400 cl32 1.35v Did you verify this ? Amazing score btw on air. Congrats. Btw, do you mind sharing the voltages you used ? Bravo Tristan !!!

Ddr5 8400 cl32 1.35v Did you verify this ? Amazing score btw on air. Congrats. Btw, do you mind sharing the voltages you used ? Bravo Tristan !!! Unfortunately, I did not... and, I already packed up and shipped the sticks back, so cannot test now. Frankly? It was a decision driven by emotion, and maybe a mistake. Will see how the new sticks do. From what I hear A-die is rather consistent. I hope for 10600 again. The memory controller is the star of the show here. From memory... VDDIO 1.35v, VDD 1.80v, VDDQ 1.45v (board cannot set 1.36-1.43v here), VPP 1.8v, VDDP 1.2v, VSOC 1.3v. VDDP @ 1.2v was crucial to going from 9200MHz to 10600. Saw 10800, could not get to Windows.

Correction, lol. My old tired eyes saw 8400. It is 6400.
This makes your achievement even bigger.
Single stick ?

Further slot was about -200MHz. One stick did 10600 POST, no boot, other 10800 POST, no boot. I will find out at the end of the week if I fucked up by returning the kit.

I have Teamgroup T-force delta rgb rated at 7800 cl 38-48-48-96 2T at 1.40v.
On Apex encore my daily setup is 8200 36-48-48-40 with 1.41vdd and 1.41vddq. Tight, but not too tight.
For benching, after numerous scenarios I adopted 8466 34-48-48-40 tight with 1.51vdd and 1.50vddq with memory controller at 1.4v and vccsa at 1.275v. This gives me 138gb memory read and 49 ms latency. Rtl/iol are very good at 70/25 and 65/25.
I am very satisfied with this setup. Very stable. Can run for hours, boots right up and reboots right up.

Ah, that's a good kit and a great setup. Especially for rock-solid daily. 49ms latency is impressive. Out of curiosity, around when was your kit manufactured? I must admit I don't know anything about DDR5 except max frequency. And even that's only with the 8000 APUs.

N.B.
Of course I am available for help if and when needed, although I have no experience of AM5.

Aaaah, now that's better. 10800MHz ambient. hwbot.org/submission/5489510_Two things I have learned. 1. Klevv Bolt V 6800MHz CL34 is ACTUALLY 10-layer. The sticks also both top out @ 10800. IMO, this is an IMC limitation. 2. My sample of TeamGroup T-Create 6400CL32 is utter trash. Won't even POST 9000MHz with similar settings to the Klevv. If you are buying cheap A-die, I recommend the Klevv. It's not a whole lot more expensive than the T-Create, but stands head and shoulders above it.

But it could just as easily be your sticks. Like I mentioned, the TeamGroup A-die I had wouldn't even POST 9000. If you're in the market for A-die try these out for frequency: a.co/d/aE22nyG

I've never heard of Klevv before hand but you got to give anything a chance! Thanks for letting in on the secrets.

I've never heard of Klevv before hand but you got to give anything a chance! Thanks for letting in on the secrets. Klevv is owned by Essencore, which is part of SK Group (owners of SK Hynix). It's somewhat similar to, but more disjointed than, Crucial & Micron's relationship.

The world n.1, Splave ( Alan ) is benching only with Klevv mem sticks. This means a lot.

The world n.1, Splave ( Alan ) is benching only with Klevv mem sticks. This means a lot. This does not surprise me. (Very limited) Personal experience: Out of 4 Bolt V, both 10-layer sticks hit 10800, one 8-layer hit 10400, the other 10600. Klevv is doing good work with their DDR5.

Alan ( 12 years personal friend ) e-mailed me months ago, a PY prime 32B run at 8000 cl 26-26-26-36-2T. He never submitted it for unknown to me reasnons/ Legit 110% with Benchmate and screenshot. I do not know if it had to do with his move from OCN to Wegg, because it was during that period. Cpu was under LN2 and sticks on air !!!

Currently I was looking at Gskill kits but Klevv might be a nice alternatives since 24m kits are still expensive ~200. Who knows I might even get a z790 once they are in stock again! I can see why Luumi likes them.

Here is (basically) 11000MHz on ambient. 2MHz off from the highest AMD ambient mem freq, 3rd highest AMD mem freq overall. hwbot.org/submission/5616690_I thank alex2305 for his advice, patience, and support. RAM is Patriot Viper Xtreme 5 8200MHz CL38.

Okay, my last submission wasn't fully validated through CPU-Z so I did it again... but slightly better: hwbot.org/submission/5639015_Finally top 10 global and #2 for AMD CPUs.
