Annnnnnd it back.......? Running/loading really slow like it's started up again. Since it had been hacked before you can bet they would have done it again once they realized it had been cutoff. I don't know if the hack has been redone or not, all I know is the bot is like it was the other day here and Crl+F5 didn't change a thing about it.

I am less than 1% CPU usage while in Bot forum.

HWBot took too long to respond. Slow loading in the 2AM area earlier this morning. Now doesn't load at all.
How could it be so slow while the money runs deep into the pockets. They "should" have one of the fastest sites around.... but no. It's just slow as a glacier. Slower than molasses. Slower than global warming.....
Guess no submissions today.

I got a few subs in (slow) on the third hit of the submit button an official looking page popped up to contact MS with phone #s for some virus attack, think the site might of got hijacked and used for this. Haven't been able to get on since, forum is up but no info about anything going on.

yep, the whole site is down for me too. wonder if they're loading Rev7?
That seems like Massman's fix to the problem... Wonder if the backlash pushed them over the edge..
is the secondary server up? I don't remember that website.

Even the forum is acting funny. Got a couple of errors trying to load.
Some one needs to open a new data base for overclocking submissions that is built for the public.

I'd bet the ones that originally placed the miner retaliated, I do hope it's nothing more than the mentioned update to Rev 7.
If you have a site like this there is always the chance hackers will come in and screw things up. Even here it's possible but you don't see the traffic here they have plus that site is open to the world period - Even guys from China and such are members there so you really don't know.
Time will tell.

Jumped around to a few sites not seeing any mention of the Bot being down? Hit recalc on a few subs done by the time I pulled up my page.

Could also be something to do with a sattelite feed or something, I dunno. I've been using a domain blocker and it seems to have fixed what issues I had earlier and I do have the offending sites listed in it. Really haven't had much since except the few times it woudn't even come up as you guys saw. Maybe the blocker will work, maybe not. I can say it's alot better than it's been in a long time, making me wonder how long all that was going on. BTW it was reported Amazon bought three of these mining domains and listed those in it too just in case. @ Shrimpy: It really is a "HWBot is like gaming. Pay to win" deal...... And just getting there is like using the slot-machine bench. You don't what what results you'll get so you try it again.... And again..... And again.....

Ya I made a post in the support thread at HWBot thanking them a few posts later for getting the Bot up in running in a "Fast" condition in comparison to the past.....years. lol.
It's not all pay to win. Some guys out there get FREE hardware because they make a living doing it. Which is great. Can't be envious of those people, they love the hobby as much as we do but we EARN our keep on this team.
I'm just happy to be back into a position where I can bench again. Had it tough on time especially and funds also. Had to sell stuff to get out of jams. Good stuff I'd rather of kept, but the bills need to be paid and kids need school supplies and so forth.
It's sad when I have to scrape the couch for coins to buy tooth paste, let alone buy a 5$ cpu....
But I'm back baby!
Oh Rod, I haven't gotten that board out yet. Just haven't gotten around to it. We had a tree in the back yard taken down and I've been spending a lot of time cleaning it up. To put into perspective, it's about an 80 year old Willow tree. The Trunk is so large 3 men standing to shoulders can't be seen from the other side. So about 6 feet wide or so. I have a mess over here lol!

Let me know when you do so I'll know to look for it.
You should have seen the big oak at my parent's old place, was large enough that SEVERAL guys joining hands couldn't have reached around it. Was estimated to be at least 160 years old but was probrably older, all I know is the tree once it fell was a huge mess to clean up and took a logger nearly a week to get it all gone.

If using a domain blocker like I am, showing the actual website name as ksateaaa has in his screenie is really helpful. So far I haven't had problems and it even kicked in elsewhere and blocked an "Ad" which it obviously wasn't. I'll add that domain to the blocker, thanks ksateaaa for doing that.
