Thanks man! I am one of the lucky few that enjoys going to work every day, at this job. I work with great guys, the owner is great as well.. though this is my 3rd or 4th time working for him in the last 20 years or so heh. I work in a machine shop as a lathe and mill operator, though I prefer the lathe. We use HAAS CNC, and mainly produce hydraulic components for names and brands you know. AFAIK our parts go out world wide.
I love watching my boys grow, sad at the same because they grow so fast. I'm sure you know what I'm trying to say there..
Anyways.. Nice to see you gents, enjoy your weekend!

I operated a good size wood planer some 22 years ago at a table manufacturer in northern Wisconsin. Was pretty large stick 12-15 2x4s through it in one shot. That machine was dangerous. Catches a knot in the wood just right, shoots it out and it sticks in the plaster board. Never got a chance to run the lathe though. Now a days, I turn wrench on a fleet of road trucks all Freightliners. Welding and fabrication is my main gig. Computer engine diag is fun and all, but I'd rather be working with metal honestly. Got some good guys at our shop, all with certain attributes that makes a decent well rounded team.
Well they can grow up fast, but even if they are 40, they are always gonna be my kids.
Vinster: I hope you had a good one Jon

ShrimpBrime: Not sure. I slapped in W10 on the hardware raid and installed that instead of 11. My hardware doesn't meet the criteria to actually run w11, so that may have been the fTPM culprit. It's ok. I haven't liked windows since 7 honestly.
