ya, some of those Aussie cars are great... I've always like the Ford Falcon.. thanks to the Mad Max days. I've always enjoyed the look of those cars.. like the late 70's XA and XC just look like Pure Muscle...
But being in Canada, I'll never see one in real life..

I really like that Maloo. In this video is the first time I've seen or heard of it. I'm diggin' it. Why can't we have something like that here in the U.S..? Our cars here look like shit.

How did ya's get through that whole video. Vin you are right about the commentary he is hard to take. I had Monaro's and Torana's when I was younger.

Vin I'm fortunate that I owned the American version of the Falcon like the Mad Max Interceptor - Or is the Falcon a version of the American make?
I do know the back slope of the body WAS made that way to compete in NASCAR racing but that particular "Shape" was actually detrimental, causing a huge vacuum pocket to form in the backglass area making them run at least 10 MPH slower, to the point the previous body models form 68-69 had to be reused for another 2 seasons to be competitive.
The Aussie version is smaller but shares the same basic body shell as what I had (71 Torino GT) with things like the actual shape of the front end/grille with other minor things being different too.

The Falcon and Torino were different cars that shared styling cues.

Oh yeah, I mean no way they could have been the same thing but one was kinda/sorta based on the other related to body style - Just how they did it back then.
