I had a '72 Nova. Mine sucked and I just hated it. Mine was a 350 with 350 trans. It was a heavy dog. Handled like shit. I wish I had the one he's driving. I purposely ran mine into a brick wall. I couldn't wait to get rid of it.

I'd drive it XD
Probably THE most modded car in US history. I've seen them in 4 wheel drive lifted feet off the ground. Gassers, street rods, drag stips, dropped with 20s shoved under em'.... Unreal.

Oh yeah, me too. I would tear up all of Chicago with that bad ass ride. You betcha.
Edit: all you'd see is grey hair, assholes and elbows. ROFLMAO

I had a 70 Nova SS. 350 4 speed. Was one of my nicer cars. Hit a deer at 60 about a mile from home. End of said car.

The Skid Factory did interesting things to a 1965 Chevy NOVA SS:

I had a 70 Nova SS. 350 4 speed. Was one of my nicer cars. Hit a deer at 60 about a mile from home. End of said car. My brother had a nice one too. He wrapped it around a pole one rainy Saturday morning. Totaled it. Man that boy cried when they put the hook to it. Plus the pain from the broken leg didn't help any either. You could see the ground thru the floor board right where the trans would have been. I remember looking at the car before the tow truck took it.
It was beautiful. It was yellow with black racing stripes and a black interior. I think it was a stick. My big brother had a lot of really nice cars. And many of them were hand me downs to me.
One of my '70 Cudas was one such hand me down. Yeah, the '70 Nova was one sharp looking car.

Mine was all black with rally wheels, saddle interior, and the rare gated shifter center console with the three gauges in it. It was a really nice car. I didn't respect it. Fucked it up drinkin and general screwing around. Dumb kid. Like this one.

Fucked it up drinkin and general screwing around. Dumb kid. Exactly the same story here with all those beautiful cars I had. If I had just a couple of those cars today I'd be set for life money wise. I was so stupid I didn't realize at the time that a few of those cars I had were actually quite rare. Drinking and womanizing. I also had a Super Bird I beat the hell out of.

Those were really nice. I think those were my favorite years for the Novas.
@scottie: Do you remember if those had the coil springs on the rear end or leafs??

Wish I'd kept the 63 hardtop I had at one time.

Leaf spring car. Mono-leaf actually.

Thanks pal, I couldn't for the life of me remember.
Edit: I didn't have much luck with Mono's or Multi's. I would break em either way. On multi's I always managed to break the guide pins and wind up with springs everywhere and mono's I would somehow manage to break them right off there shackles. I hit a wall once when my multi leafs broke apart off the line. That wasn't on a Nova though. I was just so destructive.
Edit: I remembered that my brother came up with a fix for me. He drilled thru the multi's and made custom pins for me. I think he put heavy straps on as well. From a truck. LOL
My leaf spring cars would almost always be doggin' if my brother didn't fix em up that way. God the things you remember some times.
