Dropped a 960T in the socket booted right up, battery was dead so shut down cleared CMOS as well as replaced the battery. 960 runs with a multi of 4 and can not change it. Installed an AM2 no problem, BIOS F9

Thanks, dropped a 840T in CPUz reported it as a 940T with only the 4 multi. B57 in now, unlocked to 4 core without a hitch runs out pretty well on 4 so will play awhile see how it does.

Yep CPUZ reported 840T as 940T in mine too I had F5 bios originally and it wouldnt even boot with it but did boot with 1100T but only ran as a single core on a 4x multi. Scott is right F10c will fix everything.

Saw the BETA tag and figured F9 was what I needed didn't even look at the CPU support (slap head). B57 actually runs out a little better as a 4 core than the other 2 native 4 cores so maybe for the better.

Just a note for those with this board: F10c for Thuban/Zosma. Everything else benches better on F9.

Still got a little tuning to do and the chiller helps but I'm liking it! Easy Tune shouldn't have easy in it's name.

Is there a certain one that's the best? I've tried it a few times.

Need a little guidance, was getting a lot of SB related problems old paste can fix that, but on closer inspection notice one of the pushpins on the NB was missing so pulled it. Some one had pulled it an added some more TIM didn't clean it just added more. Whole thing came of rather easy for me but didn't for the first person pad on the mosfets is shot so need a suggestion for replacement. Can find tape but way to thin it seems and pads that I can cut but not sure on thickness or quality.
