The punishment things can take and keep going with the ability of people to make it so.
I found this guy sometime ago and like the way he narrarates his content. I'll admit he may not be spot on about everything but he does get alot of it right and does go out to actual ships and sites to get his info sometimes.
He's done alot of these vids covering all kinds of stuff related to this content type with plenty of interesting vids to watch.
Yes it is. They should have thought about the posibility of groundwater seeping in. I'm suprised it was still strong enough structurally to be raised out of the hole again by straps, the same way as they had lowered it in years ago.
A complete shame but at the same time it's fortunate it only happened once, cars of that make and model are rare enough as is.
35 years ago I was a parts counterman at a Buick dealer. As an employee I got a pretty decent discount on a new car. So I ordered one of these. The 1987 Vin Code 7 was the best of these other than the GNX. I immediately sent it off to have a custom 4 wheel disc brake system installed and had the suspension beefed up to my specifications and of course had a blue printed trans put in. I loved that car. I used to walk Porsches, Mercedes, Ferraris, Beemers and Vettes with it all of the time. For it's size and weight the damned thing was a real screamer. You had to get used to it though. Cause you could lose control of it and total it in a heartbeat. LOTS OF TORQUE!
Vinster: I hope you had a good one Jon

ShrimpBrime: Not sure. I slapped in W10 on the hardware raid and installed that instead of 11. My hardware doesn't meet the criteria to actually run w11, so that may have been the fTPM culprit. It's ok. I haven't liked windows since 7 honestly.
