Alex is a super mod now at HWB. He is still accepted here as family. He just doesn't take us up on it as much as I would like any more.

I'm only recent addition to Warp9 team Oldbud ... so much to learn from the Grand Masters Do you know Bones? He got bested by someone in Indonesia at the last minute during a socket "A" Reference frequency Competition and Bones had the lead up until the end. And the Guy that won was never able to boot his board again. That was in a comp back in Feb 2010 and my board did work after that but it's dead now..... It can only take so much abuse you know but I believe it possible to fix. Would probrably take someone that knows more than I to do it. Still holds the #2 spot in the world for Socket 754 ref clock and yes, I actually tied him once but coudn't get the validation before it crashed, that's how it goes you know.

Ok, So it was socket 754. But I'm sure the guy reported that he could not ever boot his board again. He ruined it getting that score. That does not minimize what You did,Rodney. That was a heck of a competition; I won't ever forget that one. Lots of team members here have their Rightful place in Overclocking history. I remember one that I told Scott to go ahead and wreck his mother board that was either a 970 or 980 chipset because I wanted him to get the top score. And He did it!

Keep it in case you need some MONEY! Well, I don't sell my old gear, but sadly all of my socket A stuff is long gone, having either died, or... We'll mainly death. The ECS K7S5A Pro (I think it was the Pro) got abused pretty hard back in the day, and was eventually replaced with one of the well known Asus boards (A7N8X-E Deluxe if I remember correctly). Sadly, the oldest piece of gear I have now is my AM2 stuff with an X2 7750+.

I understand, I get nostalgic about the older gear too. A7N8X was a good one.

Kinda warm ATM but was chilly last night. Temps this time of year here are a roller coaster ride, you take what you get day to day and that's it.

-25C windchill here. Spring sure has a few really bad jokes in its pocket.
Claim is we will see above zero temps next week, but I'll believe it when it happens...
