I believe there will be more but nothing like you've been seeing lately.
After it's over you should have enough $$ to take a vacation in Florida AWAY from the white stuff..... And it's warmer there too.

Nah. There will be no more. 3 week outlook is all in the 40's and 50's. Safe for about 7 months. $'s were ok. I make about an extra 20K a year just in snow money. Tough on the body though.
I may not be doing snow actively anymore anyway. Company is not moving in the direction I paved for them. There is not enough active attention for them to become a better snow company. My contract is in for re-negotiation this review if I don't see what I want. Fleet wise, they're better than they've ever been. I will expound on that.

Can't blame you for reassesing your situation, ATM that's exactly what I'm having to do on a related note.

Got some shitty weather coming through tonight. Ice storm. Freezing rain accumulating up to 1 inch of ice on everything. Bad for infrastructure. Lots will be without power for a long time due to trees and lines downed. I've been through 2 of these before. 2003 and 1991. Both left us without power for a week. Can't wait.

you cant tell me something isnt right, you blokes are copping ice storms, snow in spring when supposed to be warming upsignificantly, here in autumn weve had the hottest start to autumn on record, it was 37c here the other day in sydney at the airport, was 35c here, the plants, birds, fruits are goin crazy thinkin its still summer, fires everywhere here, an army base south west of sydney was in a big threat yesterday of going up, all that ammunition stored there was a big worry, and theres houses close by as well that had to be protected, the weather is fucked up, no risk

I wish that's all we had. That is at least manageable. We have sheet ice here. That is rain that comes down wet and freezes on contact. Been going all night. About 3/4 of an inch thick right now. No unnecessary travel in 3 countys right now. Had to go into work last night for a while and get a half a dozen salt trucks re-outfitted. I fucking hate that. I just had them all converted for green season use. Still have power though........for now. Not supposed to warm up until around noon, then we got 2 days of heavy rain coming. By heavy rain I mean a few inches. Ozz is right, the weather patterns are fucked.

Even here in my country(north apennines) in the last few years weather has gone crazy. 4 years ago a lot of snow. 2 years ago strong flood, this is a paved road... Last summer so much drought and this winter icy rain.

Where it's been plowed, it's a sheet of ice. I got to work and braked to turn in the driveway at work and my car slid a bit... no biggie.. the wind then pushed my car sideways in to the curb. I've never experienced anything like it.
Vin
EDIT: I'm the same as the bottom vid right now as well

You have more sleet than I do. There is nothing plowable here. Just sheet ice. Like wet glass. When the wind blows you can hear it crack on the trees and wires.

Wow. Had no idea. When I think Italy, I think mildly warm and vineyards. Your bottom vid is about what I have going on right now. Yes in northern Italy the weather is cold in winter and hot in summer. It's mild in the center, south and in the north only near the sea especially to the west. It's a small state but with a very varied climate from north to south but also from east to west. Three years ago in my area we had a slight snowfall on May 25th. But it was an exceptional event. The fact is that lately the exceptional events are more frequent than in the past.

Don't worry guys, our "Wonderful" time of year is close at hand, complete with all the heat, nice humidity and our state bird (The mosquito) will be out in force too, re-enforced by black flies (Horse flies) and deer flies for good measure. Can't wait.

K , 30c here is pretty much normal, it was 25 today in autumn, summer we get 45c + too, i know what youre dealing with, all you can do is try pick your times to bench otherwise the condensation and performance is well below, and the damage it can and does cause keep it mate

Warm days are finally getting here, that's probrably going to stop any real benching except for probrably a sub-zero session until October when evenings/mornings are cool again. I know we'll have a few more cool mornings and that's about it until then.

Zilla Sparkey and I got winter last Friday and summer this week. Went from 30s to 80s in 2 days.
Spring missed us so far. Tonight some storms which is good for our farmers. The humidity is high per the norm here too.
