ozz -- 4670K -- 1150 -- 4898mhz -- 16200 good one, you should see about entering that score (with the correct background) in the ROG OC Showdown 2017 Team Edition 2017 comp on hwbot. Just one more score would put Warp9 into at least 3rd place in that stage! cheers

Thats the volts that I had set when the board was new and I was running it I have been using the soc champion. I just loaded a saved profile and have gone with it from there. The RVE does go good I am going to paint it today its no good having it and not using it.

I understand about the mess and having to deal - But at least I can update the 165's run since it's obvious that chip isn't done yet. Have more chips to use and a few that although I'd like to run them but the strictly socket to chip rule layed out prohibits that. For example I do have an AM3 board I can run with my 1100T BUT it's an MSI and you know what would probrably happen. My Sabo 2.0 obviously could run it but it's an AM3+ board so..... Either I risk it or just don't do it. No need to change anything, the comp is what it is and that's good enough - You'll never be able satisfy everyone's situation anyway and that's how it is. Good job.

The board arrived to me as a dead one. Fortunatelly It seems this old hero, don't want to give up his fight yet ! Now I'm testing it with a lovo 24/7 setup, I like it very much ! Alpi / Xeon X5660 - Socket 1366 / 4140MHz / 17981 Yes but remember your next submission needs to be a different platform. Can't be just swinging 1366 processors at this. wouldn't be fair lol. It will be easy for me to stand swinging because it's my one and only potent 1366 cpu. To tell the truth even that one is not mine. I've got that from Kicsipapucs to test it. Is it allowed to "overwrite" a submission if we have a better run later or when somthg is posted it's the final score ?

Nope. You missed something that's all. Sometimes I'll save a score, but I forget the cpu + mem tabs to do it correct ... Being human that's all. We interrupt the real computers = correct 100% output

Its got 1001 on it I think something around that. I just looked and they are up to 1701 its been a while since I have played with it. Efficiency is not as good as Chris. That was setup install run bench in a bit over 2 hrs.

Nice run Mac - BTW you have enough rads in the background? I'm just tinkering with more 939 stuff before moving on, have an updated run for that but not going to post it up until I'm finally done with 939 itself. The new DD block I picked up really cheap the other day is working to perfection, it was one that had been bought but never used so it's really a brandnew block. Had to clean off the old plastic layer/sheet from the base with acetone, had been on for so long it was kinda melted onto the block but came right off with the acetone. A little Brasso later and it's in prime shape for some benching use.

I prefer everyone try to hit their best and move on. You will acumilate more points using other platforms over updating subs by mere few points here and there....

Running a Hydroflow block like mine.... Been using it for years now and it still works great for me. Just be aware of the threads in the block itself stripping out whenever you change mounting plates for AMD or Intel use - Had that happen already but fixed it using a miniature screw and nut. Moving on to another socket for now but 939 will be revisited before it's over with.

I'll be redoing my 939 sub for sure because as it turns out my Ultra-D's are not broken. Turns out that you must use a PSU with a -5V rail for the 4V DRAM jumper to work. Was using my Evga 850 B2 which of course doesn't have one so it didn't power on. But I switched to an old enermax 550w which does have one and it runs just fine with the jumper enabled.

You do not need the -5v rail. All of mine run on new gen PSU's. DFI's are just as picky about PSU's as they are ram.

Bones / FX-9590 - Socket AM3+ / 5010MHz / 15864 whats the brown tubing rods, is that special tubing or a water add, nice score too

Post by Bones on Oct 14, 2017 23:25:11 GMT -5
It's just OLD tubing.... The discoloration is inside of it but doesn't hurt anything, believe some of it came from my old rad since it was starting to let the brown stuff out. That's why I did the tower build, to have something as a replacement for the rad that would work as well or better.
