The sempron 145 has a multi of 14, 14x200=2800Mhz the 145's standard speed. The sempron 150 has a multi of 14.5, 14.5x200=2900Mhz the standard speed after you reset the Bios does it come up at 2900Mhz. 145 and 150 are the same cpu but with a multi increase of .5 they are the same stepping a DA-C3 so internally identical except for the multi if the board supports 145 it will support 150 even though its not mentioned in the support list.

this made me giggle, im flat strap tryin to get 4300 or more from this so i do CB R11.5, the same ive always used, and this is a new os install today too, now cpuz says 4.2 ghz. CB says 4.68, if that was the case it would be a pretty good score in cpu mhz and a near top score in CB , dunno whats happened but its all bullshit

Cinebench doesnt always report the correct frequency that happens.

Cinebench doesnt always report the correct frequency that happens. yeah i see that, its quite obvious , pity for some poor bastard if theyre in a comp and hes been tryin his arse out for ages and he gets a good run and hes right on his limit and he finally gets it or so he thought then looks again and the reading isnt right for whatever

It doesnt matter what the CineBench frequency says thats the reason you have CPUz open to show the frequency. Everyone knows that Cinebench sometimes dont show frequency correctly.

Hey guys - Do I get bonus points for unlocking the hidden 25th iteration? Did this a few days ago. Tried to do a run this evening but it's just too warm out, I'll have to get some ice for giving it another go before the month is over.

I'm sure with that 165 at just the right temp you can squeeze a tad more.
I'm on the fence for another comp. No good ideas come to mind. Got any ideas?

It was - I've seen it before but it's rare in that you really don't have to worry over it. Had to get a screenie of it to show it can happen, others have said it can't but there it is.
@ Shrimpy: Hmmmm..... Since these are being done for the benefit of the team here I can't really say myself BUT something with Socket 754 would be good. It's a different animal than 939 even though the same basics apply, mainly because you don't have dual channel RAM useage so amything with it must be efficient along with good clocks to get good scores. Also since Sempy chips are cheap and easy to get I'd suggest something along those lines but it can be anything you know.

Not really a benefit cause this time no prizes. S754 is a good platform. But need a benchmark. Maybe some Wprime?

You know it.
Not sure if I will get to do another run, too much humidity from all the rain to risk killing something here so if I must I'll have to pass.

Shame I couldn't put up any better results, I did in the end get my Expert dialed in and working well with my TCCD. My opty 180 had no more give left in it though, doesn't matter what volts or cooling is used it doesn't go higher than 3.14GHz. None of my other cpu's were really any good either. Even so, it was a good experience with s939. Definitely one of my favorite platforms now.

You should of had one in your own computers when they were new and AMD ruled back then, you would have a real appreciation of them.
