Interesting board. I have never had anything to do with Socket 940 from what I know they are different to 939 and AM2. They are a different chip like AM2 but with DDR memory. I am sure Scotty or someone else will chime in with the actual facts.

GA-2CEWH will not have any overclocking bios features, but Easy Tune 6 might OC via windows.
The board I have is the K8N-DRE board. You'll want to get ECC memory modules if you go with s940 server.
Anything you need to know in particular>?

well can't afford this one right now. i could get the gigabyte one. so you're saying it might OC in windows a bit?
