Dude?! The EVGA SR2 is the INFAMOUS dual socket X58 board to have, 100% most sought after. I've even spent many nights drooling to have one!!! I'm not even an Intel guy really. But the board is just so badass looking.... And for it's time, the most powerful rig you could throw moneys at!!! You have never seen my daily? 2 X5675's Xigy coolers 12 gig of Dom GT's <button disabled="" class="c-attachment-insert--linked o-btn--sm">Attachment Deleted</button> Badass rig

Lets make it more interesting. 60 days. Single and dual sockets. I am offering to the pot a set of triple channel Kingston mems 2000/9 9 9 24 1T. Cbr20 Geek3 H265 4k SPI32m Gpupi 3.2 1b. Any OS. Limited to 6ghz. Ln2 users must limit their max frequency ( if they can get there at all ). Why limit LN2 users? I don't understand that one. Non-monitored and clock-limited comps are a bad idea, even amongst friends (clock float alone can separate 1st from 3rd). Crack it wide open and then offer a side-category for 5g efficiency battle or whatever... just my thoughts. I've learned some hard lessons from hosting those big prize money comps at OCN. It comes down to either fully-unlimited or enforcing Benchmate for everything, there can be zero grey area. I'd offer to put up some strong prizes shipped USA too, but those rules I cant get on board with

I'd offer to put up some strong prizes shipped USA too, but those rules I cant get on board with David, I am a simple member here. I do not take decisions. I can only make suggestions. My proposal was a suggestion which can be widely discussed. We, as a Team and family, do not have grey areas. At least not among us. But, since benchers from outside our Team honor us with their participation, we are happy to adopt their wishes when it comes down to comps with prizes. I will let others shime in. Mr.Scott, Shrimprime, Vinster, Bones, Macsbeach98, Mr.Paco and others. 1366 socket is a very challenging platform and I sincerely hope we can have a nice comp with many very capable participants from any Team. Kind regards, George

That was something from George personally, and hoping to bring more participants. When I do these comps in house, I try to keep them simple and straight forward. The idea for cooling restrictions is because we have limited people and even more so limited to less than LN2 overclocking. Which can make competition difficult. I don't do Benchmate regulated competitions. Windows 11 wasn't around in 2008, nor was benchmate. I suspect nobody will be running W10/11/8/8.1 for our X58 comp. If they do, I still will not require benchmate. We can view the scores and decide if the score was skewed or not. But yes, bring suggestions! Can start competition anytime, so time is on our side.

I hope you guys have fun when you do this. I'm not making a suggestion but just saying I don't own anything that's X58 or 1366 related at all and have no plans of buying any of that.
I know not everyone will have what's needed in every comp and that's OK, I can't promise I'd be in it if I did have some of that like it was with the current 939 comp. Spekaing of that I'm dishwashing the Expert since when I tried it earlier today it was acting up due to just sitting for so long. I figured some dust got where it shoudn't be and the board really needed a good cleaning anyway.
I will have more for the comp after I get it working properly again and if it doesn't I still have a couple more boards I can run.

I may have a spare board and cpu you could play with. This set up here. warp9-systems.proboards.com/thread/1517/930-x58a-ud3r-pointers-help?page=1Memory you should have plenty of, I don't have any spare unfortunately. Will be out of town until next week wednesday, be back in town. Can probably get it out that weekend. Let me know.

No thanks, as said I can't promise I'll even have time to get in on this and TBH I'm not really interested in those sockets.

I am however working on something for this one. More later when it appears and yes, will be for bot-boints too if it works out.
