I followed Scotty's instructions found here: warp9-systems.proboards.com/post/45639 and did a "hard CMOS reset for DFI boards". I actually did it twice the first time I cleared for ~15 min but the "hard CMOS reset" failed. I did it a second time and cleared for ~90 min. and the hard reset was successful. I also swapped out to a different PSU. I've now tested the board and have successfully booted to BIOS with 3.3v. Nice. That's why it's there.

The 4.0v memory jumper wont work if the CPU voltage is on Auto. Its in the manual. I am watching hope to get a run in by the end.

Trying to get my Expert up and running but it's being a pain again. Can't get it boot past 3 diag leds, flashed the bios a few times already but no change. I tried the normal nf4 bios on it and it actually worked but once I apply the bios settings it won't boot either until a cmos clear.

That's not a bad idea. Up to Shrimpy if he wants to set that up, I'll be happy to play.

We can do clock limitations. If you guys keep the hardware out, will set it up. But will make it two parts, one with no restrictions and PiMod 1M runs. It's easier to break records without the restrictions.

@mr.Scott You are already at the top, go get it!!
There's no good way to search for single-core submissions. What's the best 3G score you guys have seen?

My X2 4600+ chip can do 3.0GHz but it struggles to reach ~3.1GHz. I also have two other samples an Opty 165 that can do 2.8GHz but it struggles to reach ~2.9GHz (Similar to ShrimpBrine's X2 3800+) and a X2 4400+ that can do 2.7GHz but it even struggles to reach ~2.8GHz! Awesome work! I just noticed the OCX tweaker, OMG never checked WAZA on this...that have an effect? My single-core scores really SUCK Single-core is really rough, effi is more critical. I just tried my OPTY 154...unimpressed sadly only 3150 maxed out on water. My San Diego 4000+ is also a bit weak only 3180 ish maxed out on water. I think Scott has my best single core chip haha, oh well, FX60 is all I need that chip can do it all. Attachments:

Single core my Opty 154 does 3.3-3.4 on the chiller. Need to check out that FX-57.
And yes, Waza works on OCX tweaker. Way easier than manual method also. Only works for Pi though. No help on Wprime. I use it for the cleaner when I run prime. That's all.

Yyou guys need to host an X58 compo next!! I have boards and chips but zero knowledge of how to use them, a comp would be the perfect way to learn.

Depends.... I don't think I have a dual socket board outside 771 right now lol. So we can split the stages. Single and multi socket. Benchmark requests? Multi core something. Maybe CBR15? More than 1 benchmark?

The EVGA SR2 is the INFAMOUS dual socket X58 board to have, 100% most sought after. I've even spent many nights drooling to have one!!! I'm not even an Intel guy really. But the board is just so badass looking.... And for it's time, the most powerful rig you could throw moneys at!!! I think we should entertain the multiple sockets, can still run a single chip on em' any ways. Just would have split stages or 2 separate comps is all. Open to suggestions for sure. Setting up benchmark comps isn't always super easy. So I try and keep the shit simple. If it's a big comp, we could entertain 60 day vs 30 day comps as well. After-all, we always have someone breaking records at our in house competitions, not sure if you fellas ever realized that!

60 days. Single and dual sockets. I am offering to the pot a set of triple channel Kingston mems 2000/9 9 9 24 1T.
Cbr20 Geek3 H265 4k SPI32m Gpupi 3.2 1b.
Any OS. Limited to 6ghz. Ln2 users must limit their max frequency ( if they can get there at all ).

I haven't even fired up the board and cpu I have yet. Let alone seal the board, and know the platform haha. I have maybe 3 processors and a few hours time involved here!!! XD

I'll need at least water cooling! Have to present (drum roll) 980X and Rampage II extreme. Not even sure if they work or not yet. Have also EK Supreme HF Cu. Just need a pond pump, some ice water, 5 gallon bucket and some toobs. I'll be all set.
