It's true - HTTO (Home Town Take Over) on Discovery has "Taken Over" where I live and it will be a six part series starting tomorrow evening. You won't see me or where I live personally, but alot of the place where I live including the bridge some of you will recognize from pics I posted of it before.
Figured some of you would like to have a peek how it is here.

I believe if you can get the Discovery channel you can see it. Discovery + could be the thing with this vs regular Discovery but I believe that will carry it too.
Maybe one day I could arrainge an OC'ing meet here and this shows what's around to do after the benching is done for the day, plenty of places to go for eats and so on.
"Coaches Corner" is one such place and it's a good place to go too, the "Copperhouse Deli" is another that's really neat so it's not like you're in the backwoods, lost and looking for a place to go for some drinks and grub.

It is on Discovery+. Regular Discovery does not carry it. D+ is subscription only but my Netflix covers that.

The wife just told me it should be viewable on HGTV too. According to her our TV guide says it's available there but not on regular Discovery.
We'll see.

Nice, small town America. I enjoy the small town feel. I live in a small town also. 3600 population total. Downtown Spencerport along the Erie Canal.

Both, Wetumpka and Spencerport compared to where I'm originally from (Eclectic Al.) are large towns. In fact we (My family) had always considered Wetumpka to be a large town because of it.
Current pop of where I'm from is under 1,200 according to the last census and the population is actually falling a little, at least from what it was before in 2010 vs 2020.
That will change over the next 9 years though - Alot of folks moving into that area now so it's starting to go the other way.

That's awesome. I grew up in a town of 400... where I live now is trying to hold on to the "small town" feel... but because of development of what I call "Chicken Coop" housing.. we're losing it.. when we moved here in 2017 the population was near 10K... but since.. 4000 houses have been built... Town prick moving in.. some are like minded and came here for the right reasons.. the rest are fuck-tards

I miss living in Red Deer when it had 72k people. Sure, it took me a while to get used to it (3.5 years to be precise) but it had a lot of what I wanted, while still having some small town charms.
Living in Deadmonton with close to a million people just isn't as fun.
I'd love a decent view of the night sky again (y'know, when it isn't cloudy as all hell...)
