Well the Cpu socket is pre-lubed with Vaseline, are you sure you don't want to borrow it?? I mean if your offereing.. I would do the same for you, except I would just pack a bottle with it.. crazy days and all And of course, some moist towelettes.. Only if this decreases my latency.... lol.

Ryzen Athlon 2400mhz memory 4200mhz Cpu latency is 77ns. That's really good, at stock, closer to 90-95 haha.

Its an OCD thing, hard to explain.. 2 is fun, 4 is a bit of a challenge.. it would be better if they were matching bins though.. Your board is sweet man, if it was new and wasn't yours I would rub it on myself a little if no one was around. Zen 3 will apparently give you 5% improvement with 4 sticks at a slightly lower speed. there isn't a real explanation for it. but I recall Steve at Gamers Nexus doing a video just about that.

ShrimpBrimeRight so running 4600mhz on any of my systems is impossible. So the focus is to just lower the latency at any frequency, doesn't have to be at 4600mhz or even 4000mhz. It's a doable thing 60ns or less. Can lean on Cpu frequency to lower latency as well. The CPU overclock backs the Memory bandwidth. With Zen3 it's doable easily. I've helped to my friend with his 5600X. We made it for a 24/7 useage so it's not pure perf. based but it's not slow at all. I've asked these pics from him, that's why notes on it but I want the Zentimings to show our settings.

Yes, Zen 2 is similar in that regard, I cant speak for 3D though.. GTX 980 and all.. but you can see it in Aida. In fact, running 4x8GB at stock 3200c14 vs say 2x8 4200 c16 there is only 10k mb difference on reads, 8k difference on copies, and writes are dependent on my FCLK. Not really a big gain all around, biggest being latency. I can get down to 51.2 and no lower. And dual rank 3200c14 brings me a latency of like 58ns.. The amount of hoops you jump though for the gains you get is impressive..

MOCF + Golden A0 B-Die + Golden Kaby IMC, didn't do anything else special. Old news now though, A2 @ 4800+ CL14-13-13 would probably beat it.

Here are previous runs before I shut down the system

That looks better. I’m curious what kind of results you can achieve without the use of the dram calculator. I’m sure you could get better results on your own

Oops sorry nvm Its a piece of software some people use to help them set their timings. The suggestions it gave to me were out to lunch, and didn't work half of the time.. SO I was forced to learn on my own, and I still don't know shit lol. I mostly just play with sub timings. I am running 4 sticks right now and am becoming discouraged. I'm not sure if it is having a hard time because of 4 sticks, or because they are all B-Die. But I have read guys have no problems so in that case it has to be AGESA or a weak CPU. Or both. I'm pretty sure its not the operator this time My XT runs them fine.

what timings and speeds are you running with the 4 sticks?

what timings and speeds are you running with the 4 sticks? Vin Tops I can run is 1833 14-14-14, timings don't seem to matter. Although this CPU can do things a lot tighter internally that the XT. But the XT can run them faster.. the trade off. I am going to pull a set and test 2000 fclk. I had it nailed down but earlier today when I tried It was spitting errors in occt after a half hour grr. Hopefully she isn't hurt. Although difference between now and then I was running extreme instead of normal so it might have been "ok" if I used the normal setting. I just use that program to check my fclk since its the only thing that will show an error because everything else is good for some reason.

4 sticks at those timings is quite good. I'd be happy about that.
