The very first 32m run.
Cpu 4444mhz Mem 606mhz CL6 QPI still auto Uncore slow mode
Will now begin tweaking the system and see to best this score. After some memory tuning, will see about Cpu frequency increase.
Posting this from the system online all services. Nothing special to see here....

I think you should try a better chip, might make it a bit easier to play with.
CPU aside, get that QPI running full speed, should be around 3600MHz(7200GT/s) for that BCLK. Triple channel will help too even if the memory speed is lower it should be faster overall.

Looks to be an average chip as far as frequency goes. Still in the tweaking process. I'm trying to learn what the board likes and doesn't like. So far, I cannot get the x8 mem divider up and running, even though I've already had it there once at the same reference clock. But yes, QPI I need to take out of slow mode. Getting there. practicing I guess we can call it XD

QPI 1.42v 36x running 7.2ghz (where I should be or the x44 multi??) Cpu lowered to 4.4ghz even it's doing fine. I want the uncore frequency higher next then memory after that. So far so good. An hour or two here and there, getting better looking I hope?

The 10 GB of memory is because I had a bad stick installed. Patriot Viper Extreme. Substitute with a Corsair Dominator GT, will easily handle what the Vipers can do, so should be meh ok I guess.
But for now triple channel memory yay.
QPI and UnCore at 7.2ghz Cpu 4.4ghz. All seems well.
Still want to try that QPI at 44x, but I don't want to F a decent (so it seems) OC and start all over yet lol. I've been through enough pain trying to figure out which memory stick took a shit. lol,
Anyhow, that screen shot...

qpi clock over 6000 doesn’t really do much, anything over 8000 very few boards can do anyways. Uncore clock is far more relevant, as is memory clock. I won’t share my 32M tests until I consider them accurate enough to be “done”, but it looks like something might have been missed for 10 years on this platform.

Memory clock at 800mhz+ 32m PiMod didn't happen. thread 22 it gives me a blue screen every time lol.

Its looking better! Your heading in the right direction with timings and uncore. How do those sticks fly at C7? 600 C6 is a bit low, but still ok. tRFC still looks pretty high to me?
1.7 is insane lol, I love it. I wonder how long it would take for my X5690 to get there.

I'm still trying to figure out how to change the Memory timings without it restarting or blue screens lol. The memory still now remains on auto. If I use the Quick setup, I can change the timings, but they don't go. But I am changing all of them and not one at a time which will be my next approach. Also using mixed memory to achieve triple channel isn't helping, and the Vipers aren't the best kits. The OCZ kits are rated 1333 and a matching set. I may go back to using those because I'm not hitting high mem frequency any ways. IMC doesn't like me lol.

I have some ram if you need.. 3X2 STT Chrome 2000C8 can do @ 1.65v 800 6-6-6-20 1T, 900 7-7-7-21 1T, 1000 8-8-8-24 2T I didn't give more than 1.68v because I was scurred. Didn't want to hurt them.. 3x2 Perfect Storm 2133 can do up to 1000 7-9-7-24 on X58, not on Z77 but can run 2133 8-9-8-24 1T 1.725v 2x2 Trident Z same as above, but I think can do CL6 up to 666 I think. Same with PS. 3x2 OCZ Reaper HPC PSC can 800 6-8-6-24 1.65v and 1000 7-9-7 1.65v I can loan you a pair, or sell.. whatever.. not sure I will sell my Chromes though.. But you can run them for a bit.. Edit: Didn't think I would do this but, I also have a R3F to use or sell

I'll keep tweaking with what I have and see what happens there. But I'll keep you in mind. Thank you. I didnt OV too much on any DDR3, I dont think I've ever been over 1.9v actually.

Yeah for sure man, no pressure! I am just as happy watching them collect dust. Not sure how cold it is there but today is -33 feels like -46. I have to take the garbage out, and that sucks. Furnace is a good plan, pretty sure at these temps you could fall asleep in a snowbank. If you need some ram its there if you need it! Its not in use atm.

This perhaps a little bit of improvement. Shaved off about 26 seconds at the same Cpu frequency. XMP profile = no good for 800mhz OC. This is XMP disable. Lol, ok then I will bench with this I suppose. It's stable here, I'm not arguing the timing set. It works, so don't hate on it too hard lol.

Are you using anything to play with Bclk in windows? All in all looking good, time for XP and see if you can get a little more uncore.

Are you using anything to play with Bclk in windows? What app did you use? EasyTune6 was horrible. But I couldn't get SetFSB to work and I can't recall the name of the other app I tried.. regardless..
EasyTune6 was the only one that "Worked" but I use that term very loosely.

ground was saying to use cpu tweaker which I have yet to try. However I did try the "Cloud OC" app, and it does work. But obviously gotta have all services running.... Easy tune was never good on Intel or AMD, which I've used with AMD but alternatively used AMD overdrive instead. Asus TurboV on the other hand is a decent one.

Was using Easy Tune on giga was clunky. Ground has been using SetFSB gave some info on one of his posts, cpu tweaker for RAM

Setfsb does not have the PLL for my board. Unless theres some specific version of setfsb... I'm not aware.

ICS9lprs918bkl works for x58a-oc and x58a-ud7, I think they use a slightly different one. I’d recommend giving that one a try.
