Or maybe it's compulsion whenever he sees an oval shaped hole - Gotta use it!

I can say that lake Baikal in winter is a wonderful place left apart the bubbles. The ice is just like glass but more than 3 meters thick. Like a giant sapphire. I've been there last February, it's a magical place. 2/3 populated by Chinese tourists, LOL.

I watched a documentary on it. What a beautiful lake. Living next to a huge lake myself I can appreciate both the beauty and the power of living next to such a large stretch of water. I live 7 miles from the shore of Lake Michigan.

Oh God Scotty. That is one hell of a snow making machine you live next to. Like over 100 inches of snow per season??

Yes. 100 inches is our average. I've seen as low as 50 inches and as high as 160 inches in my lifetime.

Well, I live 1340 miles from lake Baikal. But kind of 400 yards from the sea. And I work like 25 yards from the sea.

Nothing over here but us plains and mountains where I live. Go southeast a few hours and oh hey, DINOSAURS!
...Sadly of the extinct and very dead kind, but still.
