I see some of you have some nice cars/bikes here, has anyone got any video of thrashing their pride and joy around a track?
Here's a quick vid of me doing a tourist lap at the nurburgring in my '03 RS6, I want to go back again but not really up to the 10hr drive anymore. If you're thinking of making the trip, definitely do it! It's petrolhead heaven.
edit- was going slow waiting for a friend at the beginning, I get going at 2:30

Vin Thanks, It's definitely the most fun I've had on 4 wheels, the whole track is like a roller coaster and surrounding area is stunning! Sadly you don't get to do the straight flat out on tourist laps, you can do it if you book onto a track day but that was out of my budget. There's always the autobahn if you want to do a top speed run

Not much damage - Broke the front fender and that's all it did as shown with it sitting on the back of the bike. Once it's replacement arrives the bike will be as it was before.

There's a decent track around where I live but I've never been there. www.atlanticmotorsportpark.com/Too much effort to race prep my R3 just for a track day. It's not like I can't just wring it out on the public roads anyway since it's got a small engine.

Understandable, looks like a fun track though! Gotta love small engine cars for that, it's not as fun in a faster car having to be more restrained with the right foot. I used to go everywhere full throttle in my 1999 1L 49hp Polo, I miss that epic little sh*tbox! R3? RX8? edit - ohh, audi R3?

Even with 38bhp it still goes pretty good.

Ahhh, I kinda forgot the yamaha R3 existed tbh. You should definitely get it on track, that thing would be wicked fun around a twisty track. It's always nice knowing there's no numpty doing a 3 point turn halfway round a blind bend too. Happened to me once on my first bike (TT600), luckily managed to get it stopped.

I was thinking the same thing. I don't think in my time I ever saw anyone get up on their own after such a spill.
Edit: correction...…….except for Evil Knievel. But he was not the norm AT ALL.
He lived thru some things no ordinary man could or would have. That boy just wasn't right.
